We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to provide exceptional standards of customer service to our well established and loyal customer base. On a daily basis, you will manage service telephone enquiries and bookings, as well as supporting the Personal Service Technicians in meeting and greeting customers and keeping them updated on their vehicle’s progress throughout the day. You will be skilled in upselling work and liasing with the Parts department to ensure the availability of parts directly to the ramps. You will also be responsible for creating bookings on Pinnacle, as well as preparing job cards, invoicing and taking payment. You will liaise directly with the Technicians and Service Manager to remain fully aware of progress on customer’s vehicles, dealing professionally with delays and problems as they arise.

In your capacity as Service Advisor you are accountable for providing excellent customer service by being highly organised, efficient and possess strong communication skills to liaise with customers and techs in order to provide a smooth process and deliver the right customer experience the first time.

Responsibilities include:

Guiding customers through the process of servicing their vehicle

Advising on cost, timescales and arranging courtesy cars

Keeping customers informed of their vehicle’s progress throughout the day

Promoting our products and services confidently

Gaining authority for extra work and invoicing

Providing administrative support to ensure full compliance with all manufacturer warranty systems

Requirements/The ideal Candidate:

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role and will be highly skilled at prioritising your day, using customer progress tracking methodology. Ideally you will have previously used Pinnacle, although this is not essential. You will be able to demonstrate that you are an effective and professional communicator, able to work successfully in a time pressured environment.
